Left aligned images changing their size in the editing mode

XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary

      When we insert more than an image, after publishing the page, the images we changed the size and set with left alignment will get smaller in the editing mode.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a page;
      2. Insert an image - let's call it Image A;
      3. Set the image to be left-aligned;
      4. Let this image bigger than its original size;
      5. Publish the page;
      6. Edit the page - note the image is exactly how you set;
      7. Insert a new image (Image B);
      8. Set the size you want;
      9. Publish the page;
      10. Edit the page.

      Expected Results

      The images are the way you set them: their size is alright.

      Actual Results

      The Image A is smaller than you set in the first time.

      Note:

      • Looking at how Image A is set in the page's HTML for both published and draft pages, it is exactly the same size set, for example:
        <ac:image ac:align="left" ac:layout="align-start" ac:original-height="621" ac:original-width="729" ac:width="442"><ri:attachment ri:filename="Image-A.png"
      • Though the image is visibly smaller than the size we set, we can apply the changes on our page and then publish it - the size won't change in the published mode;
      • It sounds a variation of this already fixed bug:

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
