Confluence teams are kind of neat but they're not really that useful. Yes if you have a big team it can save you time to tag them all as one but so far I haven't found any other use for it. There are a few things I think would improve the user experience and make people more likely to want to create teams and keep them updated, starting with using them as parameters in macros.

      Example

Say for example teamA and teamB are working on different parts of a product. During teamA's sprint meeting they realise that in order for them to hit their goal teamB need to supply them with some information. So in their task list they add: @teamB to provide info by Nov 11.
Great this is now tagged and everyone in teamB who has a task report for themselves should be seeing this in their own task list. However when it comes to teamB's next meeting it's not showing on the task list in the meeting notes as it's not a task from one of the listed pages in that macro. If however one could use teamB as a parameter to the Assignee filed in the task report macro that would solve this and teamB would be sure to notice it in their next meeting.

      Comment

It seems I can only add the premium version as a Component though i believe this should be a feature in the standard version.
