    Description

      Proposed Feature Summary

When copying colored text from any source other than the new cloud Editor (non legacy editor) itself and then pasting it into another new cloud editor Confluence – having the original color persist.

      Steps to prepare proposed behaviour

      1. Create a new page in Confluence
      2. Copy colored text from another source other than Fabric itself
      3. Paste it into the recently created Confluence page

      Proposed behaviour

      The color formatting is kept

      Current behaviour

The color formatting is lost, even though the answer to this report says that keeping the original color format is expected:

      https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-61861

It only works when copying from the Fabric (New) editor itself.

      Examples

      From Microsoft Word:

      From Apple Pages

      From HTML Content

      From the Legacy Editor

      Example where it works:

      From Fabric:

      Workaround

No workaround. We need to manually set the text color again
