Summary
When we try to create a new Software Project Space in Confluence, Jira Projects are not listed unless the user has "Create Issue" or "Work On Issues" Project permission in JIRA.
Step to reproduce
- In Jira, grant only "Browse Projects" to a specific user/group/role, so that the user can view the projects and the issues within them, but cannot create issues;
- In Confluence, go to Spaces Menu and click on "Create space";
- Select "Software project space" and click on Next;
Expected Result
User is able to see the projects as they do in JIRA and then creates the related Space in Confluence.
Actual Result
The Project is not listed in Confluence, even though the user can browse it in JIRA.
In order to have the project shown up in Confluence, user must have "Create Issues" or "Work On Issues" permission in JIRA.
The problem is that some users might not edit information in a Project because of security reasons, but they can be responsible for creating the Software Project Space in Confluence.
