Issue Summary

JIRA filters for some tenants are returning error when used inside JIM.

We can fix it using the Governator tool: Refresh Application links data but after a while, the problem appears again.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Jira filter
2. Create a JIM with the filter created in step 1

Expected Results

1. JIRA macro should show tickets based on Jira filtered results

Actual Results

Error is displayed in JIM asking user to refresh

A query on prod returns the following stack trace:

org.apache.velocity.exception.MethodInvocationException: Invocation of method 'isCustomFields' in class com.atlassian.confluence.extra.jira.DefaultJiraIssuesColumnManager threw exception java.lang.NullPointerException at templates/extra/jira/staticJiraIssues.vm[line 315, column 76]

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

Potential workaround: Disable using Jira filters and use JQL instead
