Description
Issue Summary
Specifying a label on Livesearch macro does not affect results from both the dropdown search results preview and the See more results for option
When a user sets the search parameters within the macro to be restricted to a specific label, the results shown in the preview within the dropdown are incorrect.
If the user clicks show more the results are also incorrect.
However, if the user presses the enter/return key to send the search, the results show on the search page are correct.
In the first video, you can see the incorrect behavior in both the preview and the full search page:
Here, in the second video you can see the expected results by pressing the enter/return key:
By looking at the second video, you can see that the label value is only passed through to the search when pressing enter/return.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create pages
- Add a label to those pages
- Create a new page
- Place a Livesearch macro in it
- Limit the search scope to content containing the label you created earlier
- Save the macro
- Publish the page
- Search for the pages you created earlier for this test
Expected Results
Only the content with the label will show in the preview and the "See more results for" option
Actual Results
Any content with the search string will show up
Workaround
Instead of relying on the preview or the "See more results for" option, press enter/return to be redirected into the full search page.
