Issue Summary
On Confluence, it's possible to add Instructional text using the Placeholder feature. However, typing / or @ won't work over Placeholder text. The dialog to either search for a macro or a user won't pop up.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a template.
- Add Instructional Text on it, by typing /placeholder.
- Insert a text to the Placeholder.
- Type / or @ over the placeholder.
Expected Results
The quick Insert dialog for macros or the user search for mentions should appear.
Actual Results
The pop ups don't appear, and we can verify that / and @ are added as regular text to the page.

Workaround
Deleting the / or @, or entering a blank space before adding them would work.
