In the Premium edition of Confluence, besides the multiple tracking functionalities of the Analytics app, one of them is to see who viewed and the number of views for an attachment. However, the app does not track the download data for attachments.

Suggestion

This is a suggestion to include the data to include analytics for attachment downloads. This can help in terms of seeing what is the most\less popular attachment and auditing. Specifically, some data like the following:

• In the Attachments part of the page analytics, besides the 'Views', 'Last viewed' and 'Name' options, have one called 'Downloads' including the number of downloads.
• In the downloads part, have a part pointing to the users who downloaded it.
• When accessing the Spaces part, have the same Attachments session available, which at the moment, is only available for pages.
