Issue Summary
When importing a Word document, the document will typically import using the old editor. If you convert the page, or if the page is converted automatically, then the images, particularly those that were in a table, will not behave correctly as they will not have many of the properties of the new fabric editor.
Steps to Reproduce
- import a word document with a table that has images. (this should be on an instance that has both editors available.)
- If that word document is not converted to the new editor automatically (is should show a message saying that it was converted), then convert the page to the new editor manually
Expected Results
The images show in the table and can be edited
Actual Results
The images on the page will show up in strange places in the table cell and may warp beyond the cell.
If you edit the page, the images cannot be edited.
Viewing the storage format of the images shows that they are missing a number of properties which appears to be the TinyMCE style for image definitions in storage format.
Workaround
Currently, the best workaround found is to open the converted page in the editor, then cut and paste the images back in on themselves.
This should copy the image itself then re-upload the image back where it was previously but the new editor will re-format the image using the new editor definitions and all the properties of the image will be listed.
