Description
Issue Summary
- Status can be modified to any text, including Emojis on boards. However, these emojis are not being correctly rendered on Confluence Macro Jira Issue/Filter (this is also valid for Issues' Titles if they're emojis)
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to Jira > Create a next Gen project (e.g. Test Project)
- On board's statuses use emojis instead of text (as can be seen in screenshot 1);
- Add some issues to this board (you can also use emojis as issues' names);\
- Navigate back to Confluence > Create a new page;
- Add a Jira Issue/Filter that will report on those issues (such as project = Test Project);
Expected Results
- Emojis to be correctly rendered by this macro
Actual Results
- Instead you'll see rendering error characters being displayed
Workaround
The Jira gadget Filter Results inserted in a Confluence page will properly render emojis.
There is currently an issue preventing Jira Gadgets from loading properly in the New Editor, so the workaround may need to be done using the Legacy Editor at this time. (ref: CONFCLOUD-66854)
