Problem Definition

We allow collaborative editing on Confluence, but we don't have a way to track/audit which changes are being made by which individuals.

The highlighting should be included in the page version and be marked when calling the page data using REST API

Suggested Solution

• Include user and date information(+ any other useful attributes/parameters) and the changes they made on a page
• Allow that data to be called via REST API

Why this is important

• Customers may want to report on who is making which specific changes in Confluence
• We allow collaborative editing but do not audit which user makes which specific changes
