Description
Issue Summary
Update as of February 7, 2020 10:30AM PST
I’m Elaine from Confluence Product Management. As you may be aware, we’re in the middle of rolling out the new top navigation to Confluence Cloud customers.
We recently discovered that some Confluence sites (<2% of all sites) received the new top navigation experience on December 12, 2019 PST, and then it went back to side navigation on January 28, 2020 PST. This is definitely not what we intended and was caused by a bug with a third-party tool we use to release features.
If your site has been affected, it should have the new top navigation re-enabled already. Please note that you now also have the new Home experience.
We know that sudden changes like this can be disruptive. This is not the way we release features. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to help.
Steps to Reproduce
If your Confluence site received the new top navigation since December 12, 2019, come back to your Confluence site after January 28, 2020
Expected Results
User should have the new top navigation
Actual Results
User got the old side navigation
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
