Description
Issue Summary
Markdown is supposed to support embedding images.
E.g
![DOGS](Image URL)
The preview window on the Markup macro correctly displays the image, however, after clicking Insert the image is not rendered at all, and instead, just plain text is inserted into the page, as can be seen in this next GIF:
Steps to Reproduce
- Insert a Markup macro;
- Select MarkDown on the macro;
- Paste this example: ![DOGS](https://www.sciencemag.org/sites/default/files/styles/article_main_image_-_1280w__no_aspect_/public/dogs_1280p_0.jpg)
- Check the preview window;
- Click Insert
Expected Results
- Image is not rendered, and instead just plain text is inserted.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
