Description
Issue Summary
When pasting multi-level numbered or bullet lists in Confluence New Editor, the formatting is stripped due to Confluence auto-format.
Steps to Reproduce
Use Bullet List.docx as an example.
Paste in New Editor Example
Paste in Old Editor Example
Confirmed that a similar behavior occurs when pasting from Pages application instead, but not from other applications, such as Notes on macOS.
Expected Results
The original formatting should be retained when pasting into the new editor, much as it does when using Paste and Match Style.
Actual Results
Confluence's new editor does not retain the formatting when pasting a list. Appears that this may be due to auto-formatting.
Workaround
Paste without formatting, or import as Word document:
Paste and Match Style
Import Word Document Old Editor
Import Word Document New Editor
Notes
Paste from Notes application
Paste Tabbed Lines Instead
