In the new Confluence editor, we are no longer allowed to put and Expands macro inside of an excerpts macro.  This was working in the old Confluence editor.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create or Edit and new editor page in confluence cloud
2. Add an excerpt macro
3. put your cursor in the excerpt macro
4. add an expands macro

Expected results:

Expands macro box is created inside the excerpts macro .

Results:

Expands macro box is created outside of the excerpts macro.
