      Status Update 2/13/2022

Hey there, my name is Stephanie and I’m a Product Manager with Confluence.

Thank you all for submitting feedback regarding a native MacOS app. As we’re continuing to improve and iterate on our product, hearing about your interest here is incredibly helpful to us.

For a native MacOS app for Confluence Cloud in particular, we currently don’t have any short term plans (within the next year) to support this feature. This is due to both the level of technical complexity given the way our systems are designed and due to the fact that Atlassian is currently in the process of revisiting our overall desktop strategy across multiple product lines.

We will, however, continue to keep tabs on your feedback in this area to inform our long term roadmap plans.

I understand this is not the answer you’re hoping to hear, and I’m more than happy to chat more if you’d like - free to email me directly at szhang5@atlassian.com with questions or to set up a meeting.

      Thanks,
      Steph

Following the Jira Cloud for Mac app (https://www.atlassian.com/blog/jira-software/jira-cloud-app-for-mac), it would be helpful to have a native Confluence Cloud experience for MacOS. Mac users have already been asking for this experience across Community and other Atlassian channels.
