This suggestion will bring the ability to use the background color macro in the new Fabric editor. The text inside the background color macro is brought over when converting a page from the old editor to the new editor, but the background color is removed.

[CONFCLOUD-68492] Background Color Macro in the New Editor

I believe that this issue affects the status macro as well. The status macro often has white text. When the status macro is converted to the new editor, the background color is removed and the result is white text on a white background. This makes the status macro unusable in the new editor.

I would like to have this macro back as well. As many other macros.. New Editor is worse. Is it possible to keep old Editor? What is the reason of changes? I see only disadvantages. It is became also very user-unfriendly.

We use the macro a lot to colour-code content for a wide range of document types.

I use this macro a lot to provide a coloured section heading to clearly delineate sections of our how-to documents and other pages.

I used this macro to make my confluence pages more appealing and user-friendly. So disappointed that this wasn't included with the new features.
