Images in Excerpt macro was not included when exporting pages to HTML

      Summary

      When an excerpt macro contains an image and was added to a page through Include Excerpt macro, exporting the page to HTML will not include the image in the excerpt macro.

      Environment

      Confluence Cloud

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Add an Excerpt Macro to a page and include an image content
      2. Add an Include Excerpt macro to another page to include the Excerpt macro created in Step 1
      3. Export the Space to HTML (custom) and select the Page in Step 2

      Expected Results

      • Images in Excerpt macro should be included in HMTL export

      Actual Results

      • Images in Excerpt macro was not included in HTML export.

      Note

      • It's also affecting Include Page macro

      Workaround

      A workaround will be added here when available.

            Thank you for previously raising this bug and bringing it to our attention.

            Within our company roadmap and work capacity, we try to address or review each bug request but admit that not each one will be resolved. To continue the culture of being honest and open, we are closing this bug to focus on our upcoming roadmap for all Confluence users.

            I just noticed that the bug was also present for pages created with the [new editing experience|https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/confluence-editing-improvements-945107733.html]. But, there is no bug when using the [multiexcerpt macro|https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/169/multiexcerpt?hosting=cloud&tab=overview] in pages created with the new editing experience. In addition, when using the multiexcerpt macro with the old editor, the bug appears. 
            So, maybe there is an issue with the way the Confluence Exporter manages attachments in general.

            My team will strongly depend on page exports to HTML, and most of these pages will include excerpt macros with images. So, it wouls be very helpful to fix this bug as soon as possible please.
