Issue Summary

When using the Task report macro, the sorting by assignee option will not work. Instead of re-ordering the tasks by the assignee names, nothing will happen.

      Steps to Reproduce

Make sure to have tasks/action items already assigned to existing users prior to reproducing the issue.

      1. Create/edit a page and add the Task report macro to it.
      2. Publish the page.
      3. While viewing the page, tap the Assignee field of the macro.

      Expected Results

The order should change based on the Assignee sorting.

      Actual Results

The order will not change when tapping the Assignee option.

      Notes

      • It only affects the Assignee parameter.
      • Even when configuring the macro to sort by Assignee (prior to adding it to the page), the sorting will not be respected.

      Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

I agree, this seems... kinda basic. Pull the list, then sort it.

Also, the priority here should be higher than "Low" - if you expect people to use Confluence as a business collaboration tool, then you have to give people ways to find what they need. We are using Confluence to assign business approvals to various employees, and have given them a single URL they can bookmark to come and review all the approvals we are waiting on them for. "It's simple" we said, "just visit this page, sort by Assignee, and find all the approvals we need from you."

            Except... not.

Why have the option if it doesn't work?
Either remove it for fix it. This issue is nearly 2 years old.
