Style macro removes absolute links from Table of Contents

XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary

In the old editor, if you were to apply the Style Macro to a page that contains the Table of Contents Macro, the links in the TOC macro start to look something like this:

      https://[INSTANCE-NAME].atlassian.net/wiki/content-only/viewpage.action?pageId=#######&iframeId=fallback-mode&xdm_e=https://[INSTANCE-NAME].atlassian.net/&xsm_c=fallback-mode-fake-key__35744805383746914&cp=/wiki&cv=0.0.0-fallback-mode&lic=none#[PAGE-NAME]-[HEADING]

Thus, users aren't able to right-click this in order to get an absolute link for use on another page.

      Environment

      Confluence Cloud
      Old Editor
Confirmed in both the latest Firefox and Chrome

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new page
      2. Add blank Style Macro (this can be anywhere on the page)
      3. Add TOC Macro
      4. Add some headings
      5. Save
      6. Right-click a link from the TOC macro and select Copy Link

      Expected Results

      1. Absolute URL would be copied with #Anchor suffix

      Actual Results

URL like the one I shared above is obtained instead

      Notes

Since Style Macro has been removed in the new editor, it's likely this will not affect future versions. I've reported this for accountability.

      Workaround

      No known workaround.
