Issue Summary
In Confluence, when the user is watching a space or a specific page, actions corresponding to them will be triggering a new notification email (e.g. creating/deleting a page, editing pages). However, for specific actions like editing or creating a page, those notifications are being delayed (in around 3 to 10 minutes).
Steps to Reproduce
- In Confluence, make sure to have a user watching the specific page (or the whole space)
- In this specific page used for the test, edit it
- Make sure to publish the new edit and have the user checking the email for a notification.
The user can also try to create a new page on the space in order to trigger the corresponding notification.
Expected Results
A notification should be sent to the same right after having the action performed.
Actual Results
The edit/create page notification takes around 3 to 10 minutes to be sent to the watcher(s).
Notes
- Mentions in comments do not seem to be affected.
- Sharing pages also trigger the notification right away.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
