Component/s: Macros - Task Report
-
Severity 3 - Minor
Issue Summary
In Confluence, the user can work with the ability to assign tasks to different users by using the action item/task function, so the same triggers a notification that a task has been assigned to the user. When using the Task report macro and publishing a page, the mentions on that will not notify the users included in the task list.
Steps to Reproduce
(info) Prior to starting the steps, make sure that existing action items/tasks are already associated with users, so it can be displayed on the Task Report macro.
- Create/edit a page using any editor version.
- On the page, add the Task report macro.
- Configure the parameters to make sure that valid tasks will be displayed on the page.
- Publish the page
Expected Results
As it happens with tasks, action should trigger a notification that the user has been mentioned on the specific page.
Actual Results
No notifications for the mention/action item will be sent to the mentioned user.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
