Jira Roadmap macro fails to load due to 'Invalid host for fragment'

Summary

The Jira Roadmap macro using Jira Next-gen projects displays the error "This doesn't look like a URL of Jira roadmap." when inserting the roadmap link.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a Confluence test page
2. Insert a JIRA Roadmap macro and insert your JIRA instance URL

Expected Results

The macro should recognize the instance URL and present the available roadmaps to be selected.

Actual Results

The site URL is not recognized and this error appears:

At the network call, you can see that the endpoint that validates the site URL returns "Invalid host for fragment".

If you directly paste the road map page link into the Confluence page the macro will be automatically created but you will see the following when opening it:
