This ticket was previously opened a bug, but is actually a feature suggestion.

New editor experience
Template editing: When editing the template directly, a user is not able to edit the placeholder text after the fact. The user would need to delete the placeholder and retype.

This is very inconvenient if long text has been entered and needs to be copied or edited.
