Description
Issue Summary
If you have a custom group created on your Site Administration, like Avangers, for example, and go to your Confluence instance to add this group with analytics permissions, it won't take effect, because of this group is full lower case in the analytics permissions list.
Environment
- Confluence Cloud Premium
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a group called as Avengers;
- Add a testing user to this group;
- Go to your Confluence instance;
- Go to Settings > Analytics Permissions;
- Click on the Edit Permissions button;
- Add the Avengers group with the Use Analytics permission - note it is set as avengers (with the A in lower case);
- Impersonate the testing user and try to use the analytics feature.
Expected Results
You are able to access the analytics feature
Actual Results
You are not able to access it, because your group name is different.
Workaround
Create a new group with full lower case letters and add this group with the analytics permission
