    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

It would be really helpful to have a way (either always on or a toggle at the space level) to allow a Confluence admin to enforce the use of the "what did you change" field when a user saves changes to a Confluence page.

+1 // for the use case that for some public Confluence pages we have, we want to make it mandatory to provide the Jira ticket number causing the page change.

+1 - This is essential for the page history to add value.

This would be extremely useful. Would be great to have this as an option to be enforced per-space, as it allows the entire team to see whats changed and why. Extremely useful when generating reports so teams can see whats changed in the past week and some details behind it.

+1 this would be great for a number of applications - knowledge management, process documentation, quality management (where a detailed changelog with comment is required anyways), project documentation, etc.

This feature would be absolutely great to have!

I would like to see this be available for status and comments on pages deemed appropriate. We use confluence for all our information/knowledge management and this is a crucial piece of change control to know what change and why; especially when monitoring operational effectiveness.
