    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Issue Summary

      When editing the Meeting Notes (both Global Templates or Space Templates), the $currentUser and $currentDate variables are gone - even if you don't touch them.

      Environment

      • Cloud

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Go to https://<SITE_NAME>.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/templates2/listglobaltemplates.action
      2. Edit the Meeting Notes template;
      3. Add some content on the table: any content, any word;
      4. Save the template;
      5. Create a new page using the Meeting Notes template.

      Expected Results

      Both template variables are presented there, so you can change the rest of the template and save it. After that, creating a new page from the Meeting Notes template will fill the current date and the participant name as the current user.

      Actual Results

      The template variables are gone and you must fill the information manually when creating a new page from the template.

      Workaround

      Manually add the template variables when you are editing the template.
