Summary
When users access an old version of a page via the Page History Macro the old version is displayed. However the Restore this Version link on the top of that page does not work. Clicking on that link will redirect the user to the most recent version of the page.
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to a Confluence page that has old versions.
- Click Edit
- Add a Page History Macro in the page and click Update.
- A list of the versions of the page will be displayed in the page.
- Access an old version of the page through one of the links in the list. This will redirect you to the old version.
- In the top of the page you will see Restore this Version.
Expected Results
Confluence will redirect the user to a page where he needs to confirm that he wants to restore the page to this old version.
Actual Results
Clicking on that link will redirect the user to the most recent version of the page.
Workaround
From the Confluence page in question. Head over to the ... > Page History > Click restore on the version of your choice.
