Description
Summary
When adding a new image to a page and using the link option to the same, depending on which option that you select to link the image (e.g. Recently viewed, search, advanced, web link) the app will open the image, instead of the link. If the user uses the option to include a web link, the image will not be displayed in the app.
Environment
Tested with the Confluence Cloud app in an Android system.
Steps to Reproduce
- On Confluence, create a new page and add an image to the same.
- While still editing the page, make sure to tap on the image and use the Link option. You can also select the image with the cursor and use the link option from the editor toolbar.
- Publish the page
- Now, access Confluence with the Confluence Cloud app
Expected Results
For a web link, the image should be displayed. For other options of linking, it should open the link, instead of the image.
Actual Results
For a web link, nothing is displayed where the image is supposed to be. For other links, it opens the image.
Workaround
Currently, there is no workaround for this behavior. A new one will be added once found.
