Issue Summary
If you have strings of text present on a page that are identical but one string is inside an excerpt macro with the 'Hide Excerpted Content' option enabled, you won't be able to create an inline comment on the other plain text string.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a new page
- Insert an Excerpt macro
- Inside the macro, enter a single word like 'Test'
- Edit the Excerpt macro and enable 'Hide Excerpted Content'
- Outside the macro, enter the same single word 'Test' on the body of the page
- Publish the page
- Highlight the word 'Test' and attempt to add an inline comment
Expected Results
Inline comment is created successfully
Actual Results
Inline comment fails. The following message is shown despite the highlighted plain text on the body of the page not being inside a macro.
We can't add your inline comment; the section you highlighted may contain a macro or user mention. Try highlighting plain text
Workaround
Disabling the Hidden property on the excerpt macro allows for inline commenting on both the plain text on the page and the text inside the macro.
