Description
Summary
When using the "K" key shortcut, to get a 'Link to this page' pop-up, Confluence redirects users to Page properties instead.
This also happens if 'Link to this page' button is used instead of the keyboard shortcut (... > 'Link to this page');
This behavior is present in pages that contain a "Multimedia" macro;
It seems intermittent as well, the only way that I was able to consistently reproduce this behavior was - accessing the page for the first via URL
Environment
- Page containin "Multimidia" macro;
Steps to Reproduce
- Navigate to a page containing "Multimidia"macro (preferably by accessing the page URL directly);
- Hit the "k" key on the keyboard
Expected Results
- 'Link to this Page' pop-up should be displayed;.
Actual Results
- User is redirected to the current page 'Page properties';
Notes
If you navigate to an unaffected page, hit 'k' you'll get the 'Link to this Page' as expected. If you navigate back to the affected page, using the page tree for example, and hit 'k' the 'Link to this Page' pop up will be displayed correctly.
Workaround
In this case there would be two possible workarounds:
- Remove the "Multimidia" macro from the page;
OR - Navigate to an unaffected page (that do not contain this macro) and hit 'K'- the 'Link to this Page' pop-up will be displayed;
- Navigate back to the affected page, using the page tree, and hit 'K' on the affected page. This time 'Link to this Page' pop-up will be correctly displayed;
