Description
Issue Summary
Deleting Confluence space leaves behind data and therefore the space is not completely removed.
Symptoms
- Space isn't completely deleted (can still navigate to the space)
- Can't import space with the same key
Environment
- Confluence Cloud
Steps to Reproduce
- Take backup of existing Confluence space
- Delete the Confluence space after generating a backup of it
- Import Confluence space
Expected Results
Confluence space import completes successfully
Actual Results
UI shows the following message:
A space with key ___ already exists.
Errors:
- update or delete on table "content" violates foreign key constraint "fkk6kbb7suqeloj82nx7xdcd803" on table "content"
- update or delete on table "content" violates foreign key constraint "fkoxtt893weujkyh0iicoxsm37v" on table "content"
- update or delete on table "content" violates foreign key constraint "fklmweu06nft59g7mw1i1myorys"
- duplicate key value violates unique constraint "uk_cnsvvwdqfpwx9jhqt8fwdsvdd"
Workaround
Contact Atlassian Support to run back-end SQL queries on the following page to delete all traces of the space key:
