You can add a table to a page in Confluence, and whilst you can order by a column heading it would be useful to actually be able to filter the contents of the table.

For example, I use tables when recording questions back and forth and it would be useful to filter out the 'complete' records to only see what's still outstanding.

As a workaround while this is being evaluated, please consider using Confluence Databases, if it's applicable to your use-case.
