      Status Update 13 March 2020

As we're working through this feature and others, we wanted to address a lot of your concerns as to the future of the new editor and legacy editor.

Please read our recent community post here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Cloud-articles/Change-to-your-content-is-in-your-hands/ba-p/1324476

      Summary

Pages using section (right Sidebar) are converted to two column content after migrating to Fabric Editor. Editing a page with two columns, where there is a table in one of the columns will at random upon publish cause the table to have a distorted layout; one extreme is one table column being very narrow creating a table that is veeeery long. This will happen even if the user has not touched the table in the last edit.

      Environment

      Fabric Editor

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a page using the Old Editor.
      2. Add a section (right Sidebar)
      3. Add table in one section
      4. Migrate the Content to Fabric Editor
      5. Edit the page

      Expected Results

      • It should provide a right sidebar column after migration

      Actual Results

      • Pages with section (rights sidebar) are converted to two column content after migration

      Notes

      • Would there be an option to two column sidebar soon?

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
