The Save for Later feature is not available on the overview (home page) of spaces, thus, users cannot add an overview page to Save for Later

Suggested Solution

Provide ability to save overview page for later.

Why this is important

There can still be a lot of important information on an Overview page that users might want to come back to.

Workaround

Workaround #1 (does not require any special permissions)

1. Navigate to the Space Directory https://INSTANCE.atlassian.net/wiki/spacedirectory/view.action
2. Favorite the space whose overview page you want to save for later.

Note, this only adds the space as a favorite so you can quickly come back to it in the Space Directory.

Workaround #2 (requires Space Admin rights)

1. Navigate to the overview page you want to save for later.
2. Hover over the Edit icon on the top right (the pencil icon). At the bottom of your browser, make a note of the page ID number.
3. Format the URL to the overview page as such: https://INSTANCE.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPACEKEY/pages/PAGE_ID_NUMBER/PAGE+TITLE (Save this URL, do not browse to it yet, as it will redirect to the overview page.
4. Navigate to the Space Settings of the space (Click on the space name in the sidebar and choose the cog icon.)
5. Click Edit Space Details and set a new page as your home page. Please note this is temporary!
6. In a 2nd browser tab, now you may navigate to the URL you built earlier. From this page, you'll be able to Save for Later!
7. Set the home page back.
8. Check your Save for Later page, but the page should still be there.
