Sharing unpublished Blog/page with the new editor leads to a "Page not found" message

XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary

When trying to share the URL of an unpublished blog post or a page using the new editor (like Meeting Notes) (only a draft, once it has not been published yet), any other user that tries to access the URL/that has been invited will face a "Page not found" message:

      Environment

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Make sure to tap the create/+ button in order to create a new page or blog. If selecting a page, make sure that the same is using the new editor (Meeting notes, for example)
      2. Copy the draft URL and do not publish the same, or, use the invite to edit feature (plus icon near your profile thumbnail while editing a page)
      3. Provide the URL to a user with access to the space
      4. Ask the same to access it

      Expected Results

The draft should load with the current editings/content of the user.

      Actual Results

A "Page not found" message is displayed.

      Notes

      • After the same has been published, sharing the edit URL for the page will work
      • The unpublished page/draft URL will look something like the following:

      https://instance.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/spacekey/blog/edit-v2/293044233?draftShareId=5877dc2d-3b33-4b20-83f4-70ae03def21d

      (Optional - If Necessary)

      Workaround

Publish the draft first, and then, share the edit URL.
