2. Visit a Confluence page
3. Open the full page comment editor
4. Try to type a .
Expected behaviour
. appears in comment editor
Actual behaviour
Nothing appears in comment editor

This happens in both the full page editor, and the inline comment editor
This has been reported to happen in both Cloud and Server, but I have not yet been able to reproduce it on a Server instance

The following console output occasionally appears when you try to add a page comment:
