Issue Summary
Using attachment macro, and under page title, we call a source page where there is a list of files in attachment macro.
When editing those files (not from source page), you are able to edit it but the changes do not get saved in the page.
The only to edit the file is to edit the files from the source page and the changes will be reflected and the pages that call out that source page.
Source :
Pages that use the page as a source list of file.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a master page
- Add the attachment macro
- Publish the page
- add 2 files in the attachment macro
- Create another page (child)
- Add the attachment macro and under page title . add the master page title
- Publish the page.
- In the child page, edit one of the files and save it.
Expected Results
The file gets edited and a new version is created
OR a message would pop out that along the line "This is not the source file, please proceed to source page to edit the file"
Actual Results
It does get save without any error message.
However, the file does not save the changes and there is no version created.
(Optional - If Necessary)
Workaround
Edit the file in source page
