Issues to attach GIF files on the new editor

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    • Bug
    • Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
    • Low
    • Page - Fabric Editor
    • None

    Description

      Summary

      When trying to attach a GIF to a blog post (or meeting notes), the upload will finish loading and won't show the image's preview. After publishing the page, it's also not possible to resize the GIF file.

      Environment

      • Confluence cloud
      • New editor (meeting notes, blog post)

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new blog post
      2. Click on the File & images button, select a GIF file and then open it;

      Expected Results

      • The image would be uploaded successfully and a preview would be shown
      • It should be the same size as the original file

      Actual Results

      • The upload ends but the preview is not shown;
      • The GIF file is very small and not resizable.

      Notes

      I was able to reproduce it with a big file (10MB)

      Workaround

      No known workaround so far.
