The multimedia macro is slated for deprecation.

I've only just recently started using this and find that the drag & drop functionality is nowhere near as good.

D&D preview doesn't work whereas the multimedia macro plays videos in page seamlessly.

This means that my users need to download video files to be able to play them when using D&D versus Multimedia macro which adds to network traffic and bandwidth.

Are there plans to improve the D&D functionality so that preview works a) quickly and b) is seamless?
