      Summary

When using a Saved Jira Filter in the Jira Issue/Filter Macro is not respecting the ORDER BY clause that is saved

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. In Jira Create and Save a Filter
      2. On a Confluence page, add a JIRA Issue/Filter that references the Saved Filter you've created (either "Filter = 'Name of filter'" or "Filter = ID")
      3. Use the Table display option

      Expected Results

Confluence displays a list of issues using the defined order

      Actual Results

If the Saved Filter Name or ID is used in the JIRA Issue/Filter, the ORDER BY does not appear to be used; based on testing, it appears that the Issues are sorted by Issue Key and/or Created Date descending.

Here are a few examples with different JQL used

      Notes

The JQL and Saved Filters display correctly in Jira

      Workaround

      • View the saved filter in Jira
