    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Summary

Team Calendar uses the user.timezone value in Confluence when sending information to external applications.
Therefore, Outlook throws errors when importing tasks from Team Calendar if the timezone set in Outlook is different than UTC.

      Environment

      (Optional - If Applicable)

      • Microsoft Outlook
      • Team Calendars on Confluence Cloud

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Subscribe to a Calendar from Outlook 2010
      2. Make sure your local machine timezone is not set to UTC as well as your Outlook server timezone.
      3. Sync the calendar

      Expected Results

No errors and the events are properly synced.

      Actual Results

Events are properly synced but an error message is displayed in Outlook about a mismatch in Timezone as Outlook is unable to recognize the TZID (for example 'Europe/London') sent from Team Calendars.

      Workaround

      None
