    Description

      Summary

When attaching larger PDF files and embedding them in different macros, some of the files will keep intermittently spinning once the page is refreshed or accessed via the sidebar.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a page and upload some larger PDF/ DOCX/ XLSX files. For example, a PDF file with 10 pages that allows you to scroll through it.
      2. Insert the PDF/ Word / Excel macro to render them. This mostly happens with the PDF macro.
      3. Publish and reload the page.

Alternatively, the issue can be reproduced in the following scenarios:

      • After publishing the page, access a different page from the sidebar and come back to this one.
      • Scroll through the different attached files, which will start to make the other attached ones to spin.

      Expected Results

      The files should render normally.

      Actual Results

After scrolling, an infinite spinner is shown on the file and the current document's page is shown blank.

      Notes

      • Thousands of the following information are shown on the console (select to show info or any logs):
mediaviewer-2.js:1531 Deprecated API usage: page destroy method, use cleanup() instead

      Workaround

Reloading the page will sometimes render the file correctly.
