Summary
Attaching files larger than 100 MB (or mp4 files, regardless the size) is failing if uploaded through Attachments Macro. (Drag and drop to upload or Browse for files)
Update
All MP4 files are failing if uploaded through Attachments Macro. (Drag and drop to upload or Browse for files)
Description
If a user tries to upload a file larger than 100 MB - after changing the instance's max size for files - through Attachment Macro, the file upload will fail.
However, if the user tries to upload the file by editing the page and drag-and-drop, it works as expected.
Steps to Reproduce
- On Settings > General Configuration change the maximum filesize to a number higher than 100 MB. e.g. 500 MB.
- Insert an Attachments macro to a page
- Click at Browse Files or Drag and drop the file to the Attachment macro, select a file larger than 100 MB on your local directory, then hit Attach
Expected Results
If the file is within the filesize limit set on General Configuration, the file should be successfully attached to that page/space.
Actual Results
The file isn't uploaded without any error displayed in the UI.
Workaround
- Attach the files by editing the page and through drag and drop.
