Summary

Not possible adding a table between numbered steps: the option is greyed out with the message: "Nested tables are unsupported".

Environment

• Confluence Cloud

Steps to Reproduce

• Create a page.
• Click on Numbered list button.
• Add some numbers.
• Go to a number that is not the last.
• Hold shift and click enter.
• Position the cursor on the space shown with no number.
• Click on the Insert table icon.

Expected Results

• A table is added to the page.

Actual Results

• The content of the macro does not show under the Horizontal rule.

Other information

• The Insert table button is greyed out and there is a message: "Nested tables are unsupported".
