Too many Jira charts macro/Jira Issue macro on a page will prevent the page from being displayed because of a timeout

Summary

If a page includes Jira charts macros which reach a timeout before displaying, the page will no longer display and will instead display the error message: Something's gone wrong

In some cases, you may receive an Access Restricted message as well and there is actually no restrictions to the page or its parents.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Insert more than 10 Jira Charts in a page with a relatively complex JQL.
2. Publish the page or access it.

Expected Results

The page is properly displayed

Actual Results

The page displays the error Something's gone wrong. Following JS error in the console:

Workaround 1

If you update the version of your page, you will be able to view the previous version using the Page History.

Use this link to check the Page History of your page, change the instance and the page number (You can get the page number by copying the URL behind the page link):

• https://<instance>.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/viewpreviousversions.action?pageId=<Get the page id from the page URL>

If you click to restore the page to the previous version, the current version of your page will become accessible on a new link, share this link with your stake holders.

Workaround for editing the page
Change the URL of your page to add an /edit/ before the page number, like this:

• https://<instance>.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/<space_key>/pages/edit/<page_id>

Remember to change the instance, space key and page id if you copy this whole URL.

Workaround 2

Split your pages to hold a smaller number of Jira charts macro to not reach this timeout.
