The Atlassian documentation doesn't explain clearly how to retrieve the body content of a Confluence macro in preview mode. It says :

"If you use the

in your URL, the REST api will not return the macro body during a preview request, because the page has not been saved yet. You can use the

parameter to detect whether the macro is rendered in preview mode and adapt the response accordingly."

But the tutorial doesn't explain how to adapt the response accordingly
