Add-on using 'atl.footer' broken in new style Confluence Cloud

XMLWordPrintable

    • Severity 3 - Minor

We are developing an add-on that shows a footer when the user is editing a page.

      It adds a web-panel with location "atl.footer"

In the new style Confluence (tested in version Confluence 1000.1668.0) there are two major problems when showing the footer in the editor mode:

      1. The custom footer is not initially visible
      • at the bottom of the editor is the default editor footer with "Publish", "Close" etc
      • the custom footer is under that footer and the user can see the footer added by the add-on only after scrolling to the bottom of the page
      1. The custom footer is sometimes added twice
      • sometimes the custom footer is added two times at the bottom of the page

These are major blocking issues for the add-on.

The add-on works as expected with the old style Confluence Cloud (eg. version 1000.0.0-e4e5af8)
