Description
In Confluence, the user has the option to configure the email notification settings for the profile and also, control which pages/spaces will be watched by the same. As this is a manual process, the user would need to select each content to unwatch.
Sometimes, when a company works with a couple of end users, it would be intuitive to contact the administrator to disable specific notifications for them and the same would need to teach the user on how to perform the operation.
This is a suggestion to have finer-grained controls over emails sent from Confluence to end users. For example, either the administrator could remove the pages/spaces watched by the user automatically or the same could have a quick option to stop watching it.
Notes
In the Server edition of Confluence, a workaround is to disable the system add-ons notification
