Error message when creating a blog post on Internet Explorer

Summary

• When trying to create a blog post on Internet Explorer, the following error is displayed:

  Something's gone wrong. Our team has been notified. If the problem persists, please contact Atlassian Support.

Environment

• Internet Explorer version 11

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Confluence
2. Create a new blog post

Expected Results

• Editor is displayed for you to create your blog post.

Actual Results

• The error message of the image attached is displayed.

Notes

• This issue seems to be related to the new editor being released to blog posts, as reported in the Atlassian's What's New page: Atlassian Cloud changes Feb 26 to Mar 5, 2018.

Workaround

• This issue has not been reported in Firefox, therefore a workaround for this problem is to create blog posts using a different browser.
